Derby Royals started thier defence of the Division 1 title with an impressive 12.1 win over St Georges. Man of the match was Tom scoring 4 goals on his debut for the club
12.1 is the Royals second highest for the youth team. being 4 goals behind our 16.1 thrashing of Mickleover 95
in the 2007/08 season. next weeks oponents are the same Mickleover 95 team but form shows they have greatly improved since then.

Derby Royals Football Club was formed in 2006

derby_royals_logo The squad includes players from all over the Derby area and include some really talented players. The team is initially an under 12's team entered in the Derby City Football League.

Because of the quality of the squad the Derby City League placed the Royals straight into Division 1.
